FLENSAFDICHTINGEN

Flange gaskets, otherwise known as pipe gaskets, are used to fit between two sections of pipe, each pipe section has typically a flared area that provides a surface for the gasket to seal to. Types of flange gaskets include ring-type gaskets (RF/IBC type) and full-face gaskets (FF type). A ring-type gasket, also known as Inner Bolt Circle gasket, is a gasket with an inner diameter (ID) and outer diameter (OD), it sits within the circle of the bolts on the raised face of the flange and is purely a continuous ring of material. A full-face flange gasket is similar to a ring gasket, but it covers the entire flange surface and it has bolt holes (aligned in a bolt circle) cut into the gasket material. Both ring-type gaskets and full-face gaskets come in metric and standard sizes in accordance with PN/DIN (European), BS10 (British/Australian), ASA/ANSI (USA), and JIS/KS (Japanese/Korean) standards, or designed to customer specifications and requirements. Additionally, flange gaskets are available in different thicknesses, usually between 1,5mm (1/16”) and 3mm (1/8”) and in a wide range of materials such as rubber, PTFE, compressed non-asbestos fibers and graphite.
